Know more about the captain of the Ship, the director:  Anurag Kashyap was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, where his father Prakash Singh worked for the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation. He grew up in Gorakhpur. He did his early schooling in Green School Dehradun and, age eight onwards, at the Scindia School in Gwalior. Some of the locations used in Gangs of Wasseypur are also influenced from his own old house where he himself lived with his parents, sister Anubhuti Kashyap and brother, Abhinav Kashyap. Abhinav is also writer-director, while his sister Anubhuti has been his assistant in most of his films.
Due to Kashyap's desire to become a scientist, he went to Delhi for his higher studies and enrolled himself into a zoology course at the Hansraj College (University of Delhi); he graduated in 1993. During his college days, he started watching films again and also got involved with drugs and alcohol. He was confused and depressed and had joined a street theater group, Jana Natya Manch; he ended up doing a lot of street plays. The same year, a couple of friends introduced him to world cinema; they "urged [him] to catch a de Sica retrospective" at the International Film Festival of India. In ten days, he saw 55 films at the festival, and de Sica's Bicycle Thieves was the film that influenced him the most; watching it "was an epiphany

Facts And Figures:
·         Anurag Kashyap had initially intended for Ugly to release in mid to late 2013. The Indian Censor Board required a "Smoking is Injurious to Health" sign to be posted in the lower right corner of the frame whenever a character in the film is shown smoking. Kashyap fought this regulation stating " it's the Health Ministry that should take the responsibility of curbing use of tobacco and work towards measures to control it and films should not be a medium to advertise      non-smoking." For a while Kashyap stated that he was not going to release the film until the Board decided to get rid of the rule, but after several months of negotiations, Kashyap decided that he would release the movie with the "Smoking is Injurious to Health" sign while continuing to change the rule. It is now going to release on 26th December, 2014.
·         Movie’s running time is 128 minutes and budget is moderate which a good.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Anurag Kashyap is back with his kind of cinema which is dark and revolves around the complex human mindset and relationships. Ugly seems to be dark and do have its share of audience who watch and admire anurag kashyap’s movie’s consider them as a treat against typical big banner movies who are too conventional to digest these day but ironically still make a mark on box office  because of extensive marketing and renowned star cast.
Atleast anurag is honest in his offerings and consistent to his instincts. Ugly is no different as story line, screen play and narration seems to be fast paced with twist in the tale. I am expecting it to be a sensible movie backed buy few honest performances from lead star cast.

Timing of release of this movie is not right as Amir Khan’s PK is just released this weekend and it is expected to rule next weekend as well which possibly shadowed ugly

I would give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars, five days before the release.

Casts: Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt
Banner: Aamir Khan Productions
Director: Rajkumar Hirani
Producer: Rajkumar Hirani, Aamir Khan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Siddharth Roy Kapur
Writers: Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi
Music: Shantanu Moitra, Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale
Release Date: 19th December 2014

Story line:
A stranger in the city asks questions no one has asked before. Known only by his initials, P.K.'s innocent questions and childlike curiosity will take him on a journey of love, laughter and letting-go.
Rajkumar Hirani the director of this movie has stated that the film will be a satire on "God and godmen".

Know more about the captain of the Ship, the director:  Rajkumar Hirani (commonly known as Raju Hirani) was born on 20 November, 1962 in Nagpur to a Sindhi family. His father Suresh Hirani ran a typing institute in Nagpur. Hirani family migrated to India from Sindh during Partition of India when Suresh Hirani was 14-year-old. Rajkumar Hirani studied in St. Francis De'Sales High School, Nagpur, Maharashtra. Rajkumar did not have enough marks to get admission in engineering and medical courses so he did his graduation in commerce.Hirani helped his father in his business but he wanted to be actor in Hindi films. In college days he was involved with Hindi theatre. Suresh got his son's photographs shot and packed him off to an acting school in Mumbai. But Raju could not blend in and returned to Nagpur after three days. His father then asked Raju to apply to the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, but the acting course had shut down by then and chances of admission to the directorial course looked slim as there were far too many applicants. So Raju opted for the editing course. He earned a scholarship, thereby reducing the load on his father's shoulders

Rajkumar Hirani's first directorial venture was Munnabhai MBBS (2003) which is considered a cult classic. Munnabhai MBBS not only broke all formulaic conventions associated with Bollywood films but also became a trend setter. Made on a budget of Rs. 100 million, it was a huge hit worldwide and took a distributor share of Rs. 250 million from the Indian market. His second directorial effort was Lage Raho Munnabhai which had a strong cultural impact in India, popularising Gandhism under Munna Bhai's notion of Gandhigiri. The film was generally well received by both critics and the mass audience and was a huge box office success.

His third film was the comedy 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani. The film was also very well received by the critics. 3 Idiots became the highest grosser in Indian cinema shattering all records across Indian and overseas markets.

Facts And Figures:
·         Film length is 2 hour 33 minutes.

·         A 26-day schedule of shooting of PK started in Delhi from 27 September 2013. When the shoot of the film was going on in Chandni Chowk area of Delhi, an FIR was lodged against makers of the film for allegedly hurting religious sentiments in October 2013. The objection was regarding a scene in the film where a man dressed as the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva pulls the rickshaw with two burqa clad women as passengers.
·         The first poster came out on 31 July 2014. A motion poster was also released on the same day on YouTube. The poster sparked a controversy as it featured Aamir Khan posing almost nude with only a transistor covering his private parts. The poster was criticized for allegedly promoting obscenity. A PIL was filed in the court by the All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front to ban the release of the film. The Supreme Court dismissed the plea and gave the movie a green signal
·         Koimoi reports rumors of a satellite deal in which the satellite rights were sold for INR85 crore (US$14 million) if the domestic business reaches INR 300 crores domestic nett. The music rights were sold for INR15 crore (US$2.4 million)
·         The Box office critic are predicting that Pk in its first day will make a collection of 40 Crores INR on its opening day and it will collect more than 400 Crores as Lifetime box office collection.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Raju hirani brought back the characterization in hindi films after long time, beat the character of munna bhai, circuit, chatur ramalingum or viru sahastr budhi etc. His films are pure entertainment with evenly balanced screenplays presented in simplest way possible. In his three films as director he has offered stories with mass appeal which connected well with Indian audience, same seems to be the case with PK.
PK appears to be bit experimental in nature as far its screenplay or story line is concerned however one this is clear that it would be holding the entertainment value backed by some interesting performances. Length of the movie is just over two and a half hour, I believe it should be shorten by 15 minutes as these day holding the attention of audience for this much long is a daunting task.

Aamir khan is looking extraordinary in promos and anushka appearing refreshing. It has been observed off late that big banner films with superstars are low in the content still manage to do good business at box office resultant of high voltage marketing and extensive screening around festivals or holidays which practically do not do justice to the audience and can be considered as cheating as even being average movies they do wonderful business at box office. However this does not seems to be case with PK and as per my gut feel it would be a treat to audience and live up to the expectations.

I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars, four days before the release.

The Shaukeens

Casts : Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon, Akshay Kumar
Banner : Cape of Good Films
Director : Abhishek Sharma
Producer : Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde and Akshay Kumar
Writers : Tigmanshu Dhulia and Sai Kabir
Music : Yo Yo Honey Singh, Hard Kaur, Dr Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Vikram Nagi
Release Date : November, 7, 2014

Story line: According to the tagline, 'The Shaukeens' is a coming-of-age comedy film from the director of Tere Bin Laden. The movie features Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra and Annu Kapoor in lead as the three old-aged friends. Despite the fact that they all are at a stage where the girls call them as 'uncle', but there's much virility, vigor in their lives. The prime mission of the trio is to have some light fun with young girls, and according to the storyline, their object of affection is one hot-shot beauty, played by Lisa Haydon in the movie.

Facts And Figures:
The shooting of the film started on April 25, 2014. Akshay Kumar posted a picture of the film's first day of filming apparently. The actors were shooting in a hotel room scene indoors and in June next schedule started in Mauritius, followed by a schedule in Delhi. Anupam Kher starts shooting in Delhi. Also, musical artist Honey Singh has been signed for a song in the film. Singh has earlier repeatedly collaborated with Akshay Kumar in the past, and after Kumar requested the rapper-performer for one special number for the film, Singh in turn offered him three songs for the film.
Initially, Nargis Fakhri was signed for the film but then left the project for an unnamed Hollywood film, then, this role offered to Shraddha Kapoor. Finally, actress Lisa Haydon replaced her character and has now started filming. Actor Akshay Kumar has also been roped in to play the partner of Haydon's character, a role which Mithun Chakraborty had portrayed in the original film. Rati Agnihotri will also play a cameo role in film, while she played lead role in original version of the film. According to the film's director, actor Abhishek Bachchan has also been roped in for a "hilarious cameo appearance". Budget of the movie is 35-36cr including promotional activities.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Promo of “The shaukeen” is revitalizing and all three veteran actors Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra seems to be apt in the roles and Anu kapoor is looking exceptional. He is one actor which has been under utilized by the film industry however he has a great screen presence with his electrifying performance especially in comic role off late in movie like Vicky Donar.

Director Abhishek Sharma seems to have put an honest effort to do justice to old movie Shaukeen and has not crossed the thin line which could lead to this movie being tagged as cheap double meaning vulgar sex comedy films we have seen in the past like Kya kool hai hum or masti franchise.
His first venture as director Tere bin laden was also an intelligent attempt and was critically acclaimed. Screen play of “The shaukeen” is written by Tigmanshu Dhulia. And with this director and writer combination chances of this movie go wrong are very less.  Budget of this movie is moderate and Akshay’s presence gave the movie a mass appeal and commercial boost where now the overall packaging seems exciting backed by decent performances and upbeat music.

All facts and figures are favoring this movie and as I go by gut feel, a thumps up for this movie and I would give this movie 3 stars out of 5, a weekend before its release date.

Preview- Finding Fanny

Casts: Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia , Naseeruddin Shah
Banner: Maddock Films
Director: Homi Adajania
Producer: Dinesh Vijan
Writers: Homi Adajania and Kersi Khambatta
Music: Mathias Duplessy and Sachin-Jigar
Release Date: 12th September 2014

Story line: Finding Fanny revolves around five rather dysfunctional characters that live in the quaint sleepy village of Pocolim, nestled deep in the interiors of Goa, India. Pocolim is a village where pointless conversations are a way of life. Nothing ever really happens here and the people of Pocolim, well, they just exist. One night, the old postman Ferdie (Naseeruddin Shah), receives a letter that is slipped under his door.
He realizes that it is the letter he had written 46 years ago to the love of his life, Stefanie Fernandes (Anjali Patil), asking for her hand in marriage. To his utter shock, he discovers that it had never been delivered. All these years Ferdie has lived a life of melancholy and regret, believing that Stefanie had rejected him. He decides to find his beloved Fanny (as he fondly called her) and tell her the truth. Where would she be after 46 years? Dead? Happily married? Would she even remember him? Or is Stefanie Fernandes merely a figment of Ferdie’s imagination?
Four colorful characters from the village join the trip under random pretexts, though in actuality everyone wants a distraction from their mundane lives. A young virgin widow (Deepika Padukone), a bitter mechanic (Arjun Kapoor), a belligerent artist (Pankaj Kapur) and an obnoxious self-appointed “Lady” of Pocolim (Dimple Kapadia) join Ferdie as they experience various hilarious and moving events that change their lives forever.

Know more about the captain of the Ship, the director:
Homi Adajania entered the film industry directing and co-writing the English-language psychological drama Being Cyrus (2006) starring noted Bollywood actors like Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, and Boman Irani. The film earned critical acclaim, despite being commercially unsuccessful. Film critic Rajeev Masand called it "a stylish thriller that's told in an immensely engaging style."
Adajania's second directorial venture was the Hindi-language romantic comedy Cocktail (2012). The film was written by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan under their banner Illuminati Films. The lead roles were played by Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and debutante actress Diana Penty, while Dimple Kapadia and Boman Irani featured in supporting roles. After its three-week run, Box Office India declared the film a hit in India and abroad. It earned mixed to positive reviews from critics.

Facts And Figures:
It has also been selected to be screened at Busan International Film Festival in October, 2014. The flim has been cleared with a U/A certificate.
Homi Adajania wrote the first draft of the screenplay during his month long stay at village Salvador do Mundo in Goa. During this period he also studied local Goan Catholics, and added some dysfunctional characters into what he called, "hybrid Marquezian Indian village", which became the fictional village of Pocolim. To get local nuances and cultural research right, he took the help of Goan writer, Cecil Pinto. Adajania didn't intend to write the film as a road film, instead he placed it in the genre of As Good as It Gets. This was his second collaboration with Kersi Khambatta, who also wrote the dialogues for his debut film, Being Cyrus. Khambatta wrote the scenes, chapter by chapter, like a novel, which aided in the development of the script. The screenplay of Finding Fanny was adapted from a novel by Kersi Khambatta. The 200-page novel is expected to his shelves later in 2015.
He had finished writing the script of Finding Fanny by 2009, 4 years after his first directorial venture Being Cyrus released.  However, casting for the film became an issue as it was an offbeat film—Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor were initially offered roles in the films, though they turned their respective parts down. Dinesh Vijan had suggested against making the film, advising Adajania that "you are going to make a Hinglish film which only 10 people will see." Hence, Adajania postponed the film and went on to direct Cocktail instead. During the shooting of Cocktail, his narration of the story to lead actress Deepika Padukone had impressed her, and she expressed her desire to be a part of the film.
In May 2013, Padukone and Arjun Kapoor were signed on for leading roles, the latter being assigned the part of "a mechanic, who’s in denial about being a loser. "Reportedly, Padukone has reduced her usual fee for the film and has also signed a profit-sharing deal with the producers.By August 2013, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia, who earlier featured in Being Cyrus, were signed on for the film; Pankaj Kapur joined the cast the following month. Whilst the film was earlier reported to be a short film, Padukone confirmed in an interview that this was untrue. The film will be showcased in English and Hindi versions to cater for the audience in India and abroad.
Before the filming could commence, sessions and workshops were organized with the actors. Later, a month prior to it, Adajania and Naseeruddin Shah figured out where to place the latter's character emotionally and his body language, through story arc from vulnerable, even "borderline idiotic" to coming into his strength later in the film. Shah decided to use a mid-range voice, instead of his natural baritone. Arjun Kapoor was convinced to use a restraint acting style, compared his usual dramatic style, and appeared "effortlessness of just being

My Gut Feel and comments:
Although our Bollywood audience is getting mature with every passing year however a HINGLISH film is still a risk as it restrict the reachability of film to classes and not the masses which seems to be the case with Finding Fanny. Star cast is impressive, story line appeals to be interesting however holding attention of audience throughout the film is a challenge especially in second half of movies like this.  Director Homi Adajania’s previous work Being cyrus was experimental in nature and same seems to be the case with Finding Fanny.

I would give Finding Fanny 3 stars out of 5 stars, five days before the release and expecting it to be one time watch.

Know more about the captain of the Ship, the director: Mumbai — And who is Omung Kumar — actor, model, television host, art director and production designer, or a film director? Incredibly, he’s all. As actor, he did vintage Doordarshan shows like “Magic Lamp” and “Khel Khilone.” He has been a model for a few ad campaigns, including for Godrej. He was host in “Ek Minute,” a Zee show that ran for 12 years. He acted in films like “Na Tum Jaano Na Hum” and “Ishq Vishq.”
As an art man, he not only has done the sets of “Ek Minute,” but also television shows like “Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai,” “Bigg Boss,” “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” and “Just Dance” but also of movies like “Dil Hai Tumhaara,” “Ishq Vishk,” “Fida,” “Masti,” “Chameli,” “Black,” “Waqt – The Race Against Time”  and “Saawariya.”
And now he is set to turn director with “Mary Kom,” his bio-pic on Chugneijang Mary Kom, the five-time World Amateur Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each of the six world championships. Kom is also the only Indian boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal.

The half-Punjabi-half-Irani Omung is soft-spoken, and his office a funky delight in its d├ęcor just like an art director’s should be. And on the peculiar spelling of his first name, he admits that he has been “okay” with his initials “OK” even though he has always been called “Umang.”
Son of Sabha and Vipin Kumar Bhandula, both Film & Television Institute (FTII, Pune) alumni from the same batch as Shatrughan Sinha in the late ‘60s, neither of whom hit the big league as actors, Omung kept doing stage shows since childhood. As he was good in drawing and painting, a natural corollary to schooling was joining the Bandra School of Art. A First Class First result led to an instant offer from Hindustan Thompson Associates, the advertising giant.
Omung met Vanita, his wife, in college too, and now, while he is the art director, Vanita remains his production designer.

Facts And Figures: Priyanka Chopra is playing the role of Mary Kom. Priyanka Chopra visited Kom's hometown in Manipur as a familiarization to learn more about the life of Mary Kom. While the visit Chopra was shared advices from Mary Kom and she stated "When she came to Manipur, she knew about boxing so I gave her tips as a mother and a wife, how I went about managing my home and profession, how I live with my family — basically she got to know aspects about my family life." Chopra also had to go through an extensive training schedule for the role of a boxer for 10 days to ensure physicality and agility is well in place before the shoot. Priyanka also suffered an injury while shooting for the film. "Priyanka was filming a boxing scene with an actor from the North-East. She fell on the floor due to the impact. She got the shot spot on, so director Omung Kumar decided to retain it. The cut mark that you will eventually see on screen under her eye is real but we did touch it up with make-up to make it look deeper," says Uday Shirale, who has been working on Priyanka's look.Film is scheduled to release in two versions one for Indian audience and another for International audience

My Gut Feel and comments:
Chances of Mary Kom going wrong seems be less as debutant director played around interestingly around thin line of  a genuine honest biopic which could be boring at times vs a commercial mass appealing masala entertainer screenplay. Indian cinema is on right track as back to back we would see women centric film mary kom after delightful Mardani. This indeed a rare moment and as a mature audience we should cherish this by excepting Mary kom as well. With extensive promotion Mary kom do manage to create enough buzz to pull the audience to theater. Promos made it clear that it’s a story of a struggle of a female boxer who made to top. I personally feels that where ever possible songs should be avoided as they most of the time put breaks on the high voltage drama. Length of the movie should be too short too keep the audience engage. Like movie from the same league Bhaag Milkha bhaag should have been 30 minutes shorter as per my judgment.

I would give Mary Kom 3.5 stars out of 5 stars, five days before the release and expecting it to be a watchable entertainer.

In June, it was reported that Abhishek Bachchan would play another lead role besides Hashmi. But he opted out and next month Paresh Rawal was signed for the role.Jacqueline Fernandez and Priyanka Chopra were approached to play the lead female role, but both actresses could not accommodate the dates. In November 2013, Pakistani model and actor Humaima Malick was cast as the female lead. Deepak Tijori was signed for a role in the film in December.Kay Kay Menon was signed for an important role and Deshmukh stated that his character named Vardha Yadav had been modelled on the Sahara India Pariwar chief Subrata Roy. Pritam Chakraborty, who had composed the music for all of Deshmukh's films, was supposed to work on this film's music, too,but was replaced by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Deshmukh later stated that Pritam wanted to take a break and that it was Pritam himself who referred Yuvan Shankar Raja to him.
Deshmukh had planned to start the first schedule of the film early 2014 but since Hashmi's other film Badtameez Dil had been postponed, the start of the film's shoot was advanced to October 2013.Principal photography commenced on 20 October 2013. Hashmi took special dance training for the film under choreographer, Raju Khan.

Know more about the captain of the ship the director: Kunal, After finishing his schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra, Mumbai and junior college at Jai Hind, Church Gate, he took up an advertising course at H.R. College. Later, he went to the US for a short diploma course on filmmaking. During that trip he also explored the NY dining scene with his friend Rikhey, which resulted in him eventually entering the hospitality industry. He started his career as an assistant director in Zeher (2005), Kalyug and Woh Lamhe (2006), under director Mohit Suri and Vishesh Films. In October 2006, he quit his job to work on a script. He made his directional debut Jannat in 2008, starring Emraan Hashmi, produced by Vishesh Films. Jannat was released in 2008 and was successful.

He made a film in 2009 Tum Mile, based on the 26 July 2005 Mumbai floods, starring Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan. In 2012 Jannat 2, a sequel to Jannat was released and it got a huge success. In 2009, he opened a fine dining restaurant named Trikaya at Bavdhan, Pune.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Experiment do excites the audience these day however raja natwarlal seems to be conventional in nature where emran Hashmi once again playing a grey shade character and through promos whole plot is clearly evident. I respect Kunal deshmukh as a director of masses who has done decent work in past as assistant director and director.

One important factor is that till date kunal worked under and for vishesh films ( Mukesh and Mahesh bhatt camp) and this is the first film where he worked under some other banner. This leads to some lousy music as amusing music has always been the USP of vishesh films and on top of it that X factor of vishesh films is also seems to be missing. Film has not been promoted enough which could lead to information to the targeted audience about its release date, I believe much more promotion should been done.

All facts and figures not favoring this movie clearly and as I go by gut feel, I am expected it to be an entertainer with purpose still short of X factor and I would give this movie 2.5 stars out of 5, a weekend before its release date.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Bobby Jasoos is a directorial debut of Samar Shaikh and it is evident that he brought in some thing experimental and new to the table which is fresh in its approach and presentation which seems to be the USP of this movie.  Story line seems to be interesting, characterization seems to be apt and on top of that Vidhya balan looking vibrant on screen which would go in favour of this movie.
I am expecting a sensible humor which is situation base and not slapstick in nature. Although there are chances of flaws in second half of the movie as keeping the audience engaged in second half is the biggest challenge in cinema of this sort where most of the time it has been observed that narration lost its grip and screen play falls apart. However I am optimistic that that this would be a onetime watch atleast and will not disappoint the hard core vidhya ballan fan.s

I would give bobby jasoos movie 3 stars out of 5 a week before the release.

Story line: Rising from present India in the conflicting era of shining modernity and deep-rooted archaic traditions in the era of big city versus small towns, comes a love story sealed with an impossible fate. The story of the bold Bablu and the bratty Dimpy. Will Bablu and Dimpys love blossom under the terror of a brutal clan and the violent landscape it is set against. Heropanti is the story of today's youth, and the coming of age of its conflicting protagonists.
Heropanti movie is the remake of 2008 Telugu movie Parug. It is the story of these two young conflicting protagonists, their battles with society and their coming of age love story.

Know more about the captain of the Ship, the director: Sabbir's childhood was particularly formative, as he was literally born and raised within the Hindi Film industry. His father was a lyricist in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The loss of his mother at a very early age and being raised by a single parent meant endless trips to movie and recording studios, where he watched; unknowingly learnt; from the greatest names in Hindi Cinema. He spent much of his sophomore years aimlessly dreaming of, being in movie studios and making films. So after dabbling in trivial part-time advertising jobs, he began his journey into Direction.
He assisted two maverick film makers, Mahesh Bhatt and David Dhawan, initially. Having worked on a couple of films with both the Directors respectively, he became permanently involved in Sajid Nadiadwala's company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, in various capacities, also graduating to directing music videos and trailers.
He later wrote the screenplay for Kambakkht Ishq [2009], after having discarded two previous attempts

My Gut Feel and comments:
Where hindi cinema is evolving and experimenting a lot here comes a star son who has been launched in a typical manner with typical story line. It takes an extra ordinary effort to pull out a typical story and screenplay which has been presented on celluloid N number of times in the past.
Nevertheless, if the narration is up beat, engaging and entertaining then no once can stop this star son’s launching movie a big success which seems to have a slight chance in case of heropanti.
Tiger shroff appeals to be a disciplined and grounded star son and I hope at least his work and hardwork would be appreciated however as I go by promos of the movie he need to work harder on acting skills and it doesn’t seems to be effortless.
I love to be proved wrong however as I go by my gut feel Heropanti seems to be an average movie with same stuff which we have seen several time in the past.

I would give this movie 2.5 stars out of 5 , five days before the release.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Amol Gupte is a sincere and hardworking creative professional who has done some quality work as both actor and director. His current offering seems to be no different and I am optimistic that hawaa hawaai would be a good movie which talks about the dream and the dreamer’s journey.
This movie seems to be  a sincere efforts to bring a simple story effectively on screen which would be motivational still grounded in nature. Amol Gupte has done a great job as creative director and screenwriter of Tare Zameen Par and as a director of Stanley Ka Dabba and I am sensing a good quality product as Hawaa Hawaai. If this would have been released during school summer breaks it would have been better as the story is of a young boy chasing his dream and would have get more audience as compare to now.  It is a low budget movie so recovering the investment should not be an issue.

I am giving this movie 3.5 stars out of 5 stars, five days before the release.

One is an Indian soldier of Pakistani origin while the other happens to be a Pakistani soldier of Indian origin. An ironic story of pride and survival begins when - in an attempt to evade danger, they bump into each other. And amidst continuous exchange of bullets, altercations and murkier situations, it evolves into a journey of human connection with an unforeseeable end..
First Look of the movie was unveiled at Wagah Border (Punjab) with a symbolic colourful flag lowering ceremony. The star cast held a candle light vigil on 14 August 2012. And, giant posters of the movie were set up where hundreds flocked to watch the ceremony. The first look has been very impressive and Gulzar's shayari from the movie has already touched people's hearts.
About the movie, Raaz says that "It is a very emotional film" for him and that "It is a very innocent story"  "The film comes with the message that humanity is bigger than any religion or any country and that's what we have tried to convey through the film."
About involvement in the movie, Gulzar sahib says that "This subject (partition) is very close" to his heart and he has been "writing about it a lot." He further adds, "After seeing the film, I was surprised to know that many youngsters have been associated with the film and yet they have brought the essence of the whole film so well. Karan had brought the script to me and after they completed the film, he brought it to show it to me. The film was bang on. The film talks about peace yet is not preachy and there is no blood shed, it is a human drama and very relevant."
Producer Karan Arora added that this "is not like a typical Bollywood extravaganza, it is a simple film." He is " not worried about the commercial viability" of the film and is content to know that he made "an honest film"

His performance in the movie got the cult status and was praised by the masses. He also played a major role in the film Delhi Belly, where he played a ruthless gangster. As a villain in the movie he has received much critical applause for his performance.

My Gut Feel and comments:
Plot of the movie is unique and interesting where two soldiers from both the sides initiate dialogue on bitter note and then eventually understand and acknowledge that how people from both the nations are strongly integrated belongs to same routes. Indo-Pak partition is a sensitive topic for both the nations and this movie seems to be an honest effort to understand the gravity of fact that common people from both the sides wish good for each other however due to lack of political will we are not making peace with each other and on top of that few other notorious countries are misusing this conflict. Its Vijay Raaz’s directorial debut and I am impressed with his sensibility of cinema. Movie length is 100 minutes  which leads to less chances of a dragged movie.

I am giving this movie 3.5 stars out of 5 stars, one night before the release.
