Story line:
Kaira (Alia Bhatt) is a budding cinematographer, who is in search
for a perfect life. She accidentally meets an unconventional thinker Jag
(Shahrukh Khan), whom she calls 'jug'. He helps her to change her perspective
towards life.

her directional debut with the highly acclaimed English Vinglish (2012), which

'Bollywood's 5 Best Directors of 2012.'Her husband R. Balki is the director of

My Gut Feel and
comments:
We are supposed to enjoy the good
stuff now, while we can, with the people we love. Life has a funny way of
teaching us that lesson over and over again - Sheena Easton.
Above seems to be the case if we evaluate the story line of Dear Zindagi where Alia Bhatt seems to be in a mess and then met Shahrukh Khan who changes her perspective of living life right way.
The USP of this film is its director itself, Gauri Shinde who presents a story is a very simplistic way which audience
do able to relate to in sweat way. Alia
bhatt is looking superb , supporting cast seems appropriate and even Shahrukh has been projected understated, away from his shadow of typical larger
than life character is generally plays. I liked him in Swadesh and Chakde where he played quite realistic characters.
Chances of this movie going wrong are minimal so one can expect a
good movie which would be appreciated by multiplex audience for sure.
I would give this
movie 3.5 star out of 5 stars, two days before the release.
